The setae of the legs and the bodybody:
the idiosoma of mites.
are the most
reliable tools for identification in the Monogynaspida and they cannot be
ignored. Primitively, 6 setae are present on trochantertrochanter:
the leg segment between the coxa and the femur.
I, but this can be
reduced to 5 or 4.
