Leaf apex

This feature deals with the shape of the apexapex:
(n) the point farthest from the point of attachment; the tip (often pointed)
of the leaf -- the end away from the point of attachment. If you have a compoundcompound:
(adj) with two or more like parts, as in a compound leaf; divided into two or more subsidiary parts or orders, as in a compound inflorescence
leaf, you may choose a state based on the apexapex:
(n) the point farthest from the point of attachment; the tip (often pointed)
of the whole leaf, or of individual leaflet(s).
