Phytoseiulus longipes has fewer dorsaldorsal:
relating to the upper or back side; opposed to ventral.
shield setae than other species in the genus, with seta j5 and seta S5 absent. Seta S5 is present and simplesimple:
unadorned; simple setae are needle-like and without hairs or pectins.
in P. fragariae and barbed in both P. persimilis and P. macropilis.
