Heterophyllous heterophyllous:
(adj) with dissimilar leaves on the same plant; often occurs on plants with both submersed and emersed leaves

cannot by ruled out (the state "leaves morphologically homogeneous") if your specimen is not the whole plant or a whole stem. For example, if your specimen is only two similar looking leaves, you cannot necessarily determine if a different looking leaf is borne on another part of the stem.
