Eucalyptus caesia Benth., Fl. austral. 3: 227 (1867).
The fruits of E. caesia subsp. caesia and subsp. magna Brooker & Hopper, the latter called silver princess, are sometimes encountered in potpourri imported from Australia. Both capsules are cup- or urn-shaped (cupulate or urceolate), the former 1.5-3 cm long x 1.5-2.5 cm wide, the latter 2.5-3.7 cm long x 2.5-4 cm wide.
