Chamaecrista cotinifolia (G. Don) H. S. Irwin & Barneby, Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 35(2): 658 (1982).
The leaf of C. cotinifolia is heavily netted and shaped like a fan, i.e., oblong, cordate (heart-shaped) at the base, notched (retuse) at the apex, 4-5 cm long x 6-7 cm wide.
Chamaecrista cotinifolia is a subshrub native to Brazil. Chamaecrista clausseni (Benth.) H. S. Irwin & Barneby is very similar but ovate to orbicular, not notched at the tip.
