Casuarina cristata Miq., Revisio critica Casuarinarum 870, t. 10 (1848).
The globose cone-like infructescence, or aggregate fruit, of the belah, 13-20 mm in diameter, is ferruginous pubescent when young, nearly glabrous at maturity. The fruit is actually a samara, 6-10.5 mm long, within the cone.
Casuarina cristata is native to Australia.
