Here you will find resources for identifying adults and larvae of noctuids from the Hawaiian Islands. This resource is designed to aid in the identification of known non-native noctuids established in the state as well as examples of all of the native radiations of noctuids. It is not intended to be a comprehensive resource for all Noctuidae in Hawaiʻi; an emphasis is made on non-native and economically important species. In total, Noctuidae of Hawaiʻi covers 36 taxa (27 non-native species and 9 native or putatively native taxa) with detailed fact sheets and interactive identification keys to adults and larvae. To begin, click on one of the menu items at the top of this page.
