impunctate, slightly depressed; eyeeye:
elongate, slightly prominent, multifaceted; usually slightly kidney-shaped
convex, prominent; clypeusclypeus:
usually quadrangular, elongate; joined to the labrum
well-developed.
Antenna: cylindrical; thickening to apex; reaches to humerus; antennomeres 1 and 2 subequal in length, 1 thicker than 2; 3 slightly longer than 2; 4 subequal in length to 3; 5 to 11 decreasing in length; 11 rounded at apex.
Pronotum: transverse; lateral margin rounded, emarginate near anterior angle; anterior angle with small blunt tooth; anterior margin straight; posterior angle acute; posterior angle bisinuate; convex; with 2 deep impressions basally.
Scutellum: broad; rounded.
Elytron: with fine white setae; lateral margin slightly expanding apically; apex rounded; humerus angulate; with 8 regular rows of punctures, additional rows present between costae; tricostate, costa 2 interrupted.
Venter: prosternumprosternum:
contains two anterior coxal cavities
punctate; meso- and metasterna sparsely punctate; abdominal sterna sparsely punctate, each puncture with pale seta.
Leg: short; robust; tarsi with 2 claws.
