Sternoplispa triformis Uhmann.
Sternoplispa can be distinguished by the following combination of characters:
Head: vertexvertex:
occupies the area behind and between the eyes
with small triangular depression, impunctate; medial sulcus present.
Antenna: with 10‑antennomeres; antennomere 1 subglobose; 2 and 3 cylindrical; 4 to 6 transverse, narrower than preceding; 8 to 9 transverse, wider than preceding; 10 pointed at apex.
Pronotum: longer than wide, convex; basal impression present.
Scutellum: rounded at apex.
Elytron: lateral margin dentate; triangular tooth present on external apical angle; with 8 rows of punctures plus scutellar row; tricostate.
Venter: prosternumprosternum:
contains two anterior coxal cavities
projecting forward, with two blunt teeth present on anterior margin.
