Description

Elongate-oblong, small to moderate-sized, ranging from about 11–14 mm in length. Integument generally dark brown with pale gray and ochraceous pubescence. Head with frons elongate, slightly wider below eyes, about as wide as width of two lower eye lobes. Eyes with lower lobes small, ovate. Genae elongate, distinctly taller than lower eye lobes. Antennal tubercles prominent, moderately separated; tubercles not armed at apex. Antennae slightly longer (females) to 1 1/2 times (males) as long as overall body length; scape clavate, about as long or shorter than antennomere IV; antennomere III feebly sinuate, longer than scape and IV; antennae annulate. Pronotum transverse, strongly conical, wider at base, without lateral tubercles. Elytra with sides nearly straight, strongly attenuate to apex; elytral apices individually rounded; elytra generally uniform in coloration to lightly speckled; base of elytra with two large, prominent tubercles at humeri; each tubercle strongly projecting, conical and obtuse. Basal 1/3 of elytra with moderate to dense punctation, surface coarsely punctate. Procoxae without projection. Mesosternal process with apex deeply emarginate. Metafemora moderate in length, about 1/2–1/3 as long as elytra.
