The Diprion tianmunicus female can be uniquely identified by antennomereantennomere:
articulated components of the antenna.
count = 26 (no other female Diprion have more than 23). Along with D. liuwanensis, D. tianmunicus is the only Diprion in which the female forewing is distally infumateinfumate:
tinted with a smoky hue. Refers to wing membrane.
