Diagnosis

2.7−2.8 mm long (mean = 2.74 mm; n = 5); 3.0−3.5 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by declivitaldeclivital:
pertaining to the elytral declivity
interstriae 1 laterally broadened from basebase:
point or edge closest to the body; opposite of apex
to declivitaldeclivital:
pertaining to the elytral declivity
midpoint then narrowing towards apexapex:
point or edge furthest from the body; opposite of base
; large body size; broad discaldiscal:
pertaining to the disc of either the pronotum or elytra
interstriae, four times the width of discaldiscal:
pertaining to the disc of either the pronotum or elytra
striae; discaldiscal:
pertaining to the disc of either the pronotum or elytra
strial punctures three times the diameter of those of interstriae; declivitaldeclivital:
pertaining to the elytral declivity
striae and interstriaeinterstria:
'longitudinal spaces along the elytra between the striae, which is not as
impressed and bear smaller punctures.
clearly distinguishable, striaestria:
punctures in rows, which may or may not be impressed to make grooves
clearly impressedimpressed:
'a depression in a surface
; interstriaeinterstria:
'longitudinal spaces along the elytra between the striae, which is not as
impressed and bear smaller punctures.
uniformly granulategranulate:
'pertaining to a coarse, grainy surface texture'
, never denticulatedenticulate:
covered in denticles
; anterioranterior:
the front or forward; opposite of posterior
half of pronotumpronotum:
'the dorsal surface of the thorax
strongly shagreenedshagreened:
covered with a closely-set roughness, like shark skin'
; and posterolateralposterolateral:
'relating to end of the side part/portion
margin of declivitydeclivity:
downward slope of either the pronotum or elytra
carinate to interstriaeinterstria:
'longitudinal spaces along the elytra between the striae, which is not as
impressed and bear smaller punctures.
