Fruit a cypsela, oblong to mildly oblanceolate, plump to somewhat puckered, sometimes slightly dorsally curved base towards apex, mildly compressed, cross-section elliptic to oblong, 0.5–1 mm long x ca. 0.2 mm wide x ca. 0.1 mm thick. Surface brown, conspicuously dotted with whitish, papilliform hairs, with a light sheen, longitudinal ridges missing or obscured. Pappus of 6–8 white barbellate bristles up to 3 mm long, loosely coherent basally, easily deciduous, detaching in clusters or easily fragmented rings.
Style base missing or conspicuous (to 0.1 mm long), whitish, apical scar ca. 0.1 mm across, indistinct.
Fruit attachment scar basal, white, shiny, ring-like.
