Fruit a cypsela, oblanceolate, often slightly curved, cross-section ± terete, 0.6–1.5 mm long x 0.2–0.3 mm diameter. Surface brown, covered with glands, hispidulous, with 5 low longitudinal ribs ± same color as pericarp. Pappus a whorl of white bristles 2.6–4(7) mm long, ± persistent.

Style base cylindrical, whitish, flanged with a whitish collar ca. 0.2–0.3 mm across.

Fruit attachment scar basal, somewhat obliquely-angled, whitish, shallowly cup-like, round.
