Etymology

Name refers to the thickened oogonial walls (incrassata Lat = thickened, dilated).

Typification

Type: Typus. Taiwan, Fushan, isolated from a tributary of Hapen River, T. Jung, 2013 (CBS H-22554 holotype, dried culture on V8A, Herbarium CBS-KNAW Fungal Biodiversity Centre.
