Diagnostic characters

Head short, clypeus not surpassing apical half of first antennal segment; cephalic spinescephalic spines:
a spine on the head

an elevated ridge on either side of the first labial segment
closed anteriorly; antennae thickened and pilose; pronotumpronotum:
