Diagnosis

4.9–5.8 mm long (mean = 5.5 mm; n = 5); 1.77−1.83 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by the elytralelytral:

punctures in rows, which may or may not be impressed to make grooves

This species is very similar to H. comans except the strial punctures less distinct, interstrial punctures finer and more closely placed, declivitaldeclivital:

Distribution

Recorded in the study region from China (Yunnan), India (Kerala), Laos, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. It also occurs in Malaysia and the Philippines, through Indonesia to New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
