Taxonomic history

Cryptoxyleborus quadriporus Beaver, 1990: 281.

Diagnosis

3.2−3.3 mm long (n = 2); 3.2−3.4 times as long as wide. This species can be distinguished by the distinctive two pairs of round mycangial pits along the basalbase:
point or edge closest to the body; opposite of apex
slope of elytra; and antennalantennal:
pertaining to the antennae
funicle 4-segmented.

Cryptoxyleborus eggersi, C. stenographus, and C. turbineus

Only two specimens of this species are known, both from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
