Fruit a cypsela, narrowly oblong to cuneate, sometimes slightly curved, ± terete (cross-section roundish to 3+-angled), 1–2 mm long x 0.3–0.5 mm diameter. Surface cream-colored, longitudinally 5–10-ribbed, glandular (mostly between ribs). Pappus typically present and persistent (sometimes corolla persistent as well), composed of a minute crown of toothed scales to 0.5 mm long.

Style base lobed, yellowish, surrounded by a raised, whitish ring, apical scar (including crown) 0.4–0.5 mm across.

Fruit attachment scar basal, flush to slightly indented, irregularly and variably lobed, granular inside.
