Fruit a cypsela, oblong to oblanceolate, plump to somewhat puckered, often dorsally curved base towards apex, mildly compressed, cross-section ± elliptic to oblong, 0.6–0.8 mm long x 0.2–0.3 mm wide x 0.1–0.2 mm thick. Surface brown (darker at the ends), finely wrinkled longitudinally, smooth (not papillate), glabrous, with a light sheen, typically with 1+ thin, dark longitudinal ridges on the dorsal and ventral sides. Pappus of barbellate bristles, easily deciduous.

Style base inconspicuous, pointy, whitish, apical scar ca. 0.1 mm across.

Fruit attachment scar basal, white, shiny, ring-like.
