Fruit a cylindrical capsule with many seeds that are ejected when mature.

Seed obovate in outline, compressed, 1–1.5 mm long x 0.7–0.9 mm wide x ca. 0.4 mm thick. Surface amber to dark brown, dull to waxy-looking (rarely still covered with the whitish aril that serves to eject the seed from the fruit and usually remains with the fruit), with 6–9 broad, wavy, irregular (sometimes broken) transverse ridges on each flat side, and a narrow furrow that extends from the pointed hilum to the rounded apex on one or both lateral margins.

Hilum basal, pointed, unremarkable.
