Fruit a globose dehiscent capsule 3–7 mm diameter.

Seed an irregularly-shaped pyramid (triangular in lateral view) with distinctly ridged (almost winged) edges, 1–1.5 mm long x 0.5–1 mm wide. Surface with large angular spaces created by a maze of high ridges, finish of ridges is cobblestone-like, dark metallic black with iridescence seen under high magnification.

Hilum subterminal, a conspicuously flared scar ca. 0.3–0.5 mm long at the end of a distinct longitudinal ridge on the ventral side.
