Fruit a cypsela, obcuneate or oblanceolate to oblong, cross-section oval, 1.8–2.4 mm long x 1–1.3 mm wide x 0.6–0.8 mm thick. Surface eglandular, brown, longitudinally ribbed (ribs prominent, 10+, moderately hairy). Pappus of 6–8 cream-colored, aristate scales 1.3–2.2(2.7) mm long.

Style base missing or inconspicuous, apical scar 0.6–1 mm across.

Fruit attachment scar basal, variable but typically flush to slightly raised, granular.
