Fruit a cypsela, oblong, plump to somewhat puckered, sometimes slightly dorsally curved base towards apex, mildly compressed, cross-section ± elliptic to oblong to 4-sided, 0.5–0.7 mm long x 0.1–0.3 mm wide x ca. 0.1 mm thick. Surface light brown (darker at the ends), smooth to papillate, glabrous, with a light sheen, rarely with 1+ thin longitudinal ridges. Pappus of whitish bristles, early deciduous, falling separately.
Style base inconspicuous, pointy, whitish, apical scar ca. 0.1 mm across.
Fruit attachment scar basal, white, shiny, ring-like.
