Fruit a cypsela, narrowly oblong, often slightly curved, cross-section ± terete, 2–2.6 mm long x 0.3–0.5 mm diameter. Surface glabrous, brown, with 8–10 lighter-colored, distinctly-raised longitudinal ribs. Pappus a whorl of white bristles 7–12 mm long, easily broken off at their bases.
Style base cylindrical, whitish, flanged with a whitish to brownish collar ca. 0.3–0.4 mm across.
Fruit attachment scar basal, whitish, shallowly cup-like.
