Wood Boring Beetle Families was developed and published by USDA/APHIS/PPQ Center for Plant Health Science and Technology (CPHST) as part of its cooperative agreement with Montana State University (MSU) and in collaboration with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA).

CPHST is the scientific support organization for the Plant Protection and Quarantine division of the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). CPHST Fort Collins Director Richard Zink and CPHST Identification Technology Program Coordinator Terrence Walters oversee tool development.

Authors and contributors

Andrew Cline and Charles Bellamy are Senior Insect Biosystematists at CDFA's Plant Pest Diagnostics Center.

Michael Ivie is Associate Professor and Curator of Entomology at MSU.

Julia Scher is a member of CPHST's Ft. Collins, CO laboratory.
