Count the number of distinct petals (or corolla lobes if corolla is sympetalous) on your flower. The corolla may be actinomorphic or zygomorphic.
Use this feature only if the corolla is a single whorl. Some double flower cultivars have more than the normal number, or extra whorl(s), of petals. Skip this feature if your flower is semi-double or double.
