Diabrotica perkinsi Derunkov, Prado, Tishechkin, Konstantinov is very similar to D. pulchra (Sahlberg) and D. salvadorensis.. They can be separated by the following features: there are five internal sac scleritessclerites:

in D. salvadorensis; D. perkinsi has bicolored femora, but D. salvadorensis has black legs, and D. pulchra has yellow femora.
