Description

Flowers of the African marigold are typically orange daisies, 4-5 cm in diameter and 1-1.5 cm thick, with a center of smaller and darker petals.

Nativity and distribution

Tagetes erecta is native from Mexico to Peru but widely cultivated worldwide, especially in India.
