Pteridium aquilinum (L.) Kuhn in O. Kersetn, Reis. Ost-Afr. 3(3): 11 (1879).

Description

Sold as “karni” or “kerni” fern in the potpourri trade, the pinnae of the bracken fern are typically curled to flat in potpourri, 2-10 cm long x 0.5-2.0 cm wide.

Pteridium aquilinum is a worldwide weed.
