Description

Strips of the foliage of the Indian date or wild date palm are woven into flowers and fans of varying intricacy or bundled together into rolls, 7-10 cm long x ca. 2 cm wide.

Nativity and distribution

Phoenix sylvestris is native to India and Nepal but cultivated elsewhere.
