Description

Stalks of the fruits of the gray honeymyrtle are occasionally encountered in potpourri imported from Australia. The small, gray, woody capsules are tightly packed into a cylindrical spike, normally about 3-4 cm long.

Nativity and distribution

Melaleuca incana is native to Victoria and Western Australia.
