Leucadendron coniferum Sieb. ex Meisn., DC, Prod. 14: 222 (1856).

Description

Sold in the potpourri trade as “sabulosum cones,” the papery bracts of these multiple fruits look like spruce cones, 4-4.5 cm long x 3 cm wide.

Leucadendron coniferum is native to South Africa.
