Gnaphalium obtusifolium L., Sp. Pl. 2: 851 (1753).

Description

Inflorescences of the pearly everlasting have thin, white-woolly stems bearing numerous disk-shaped, whitish heads with greenish-brown centers, 5-10 mm diameter.

Nativity and distribution

Gnaphalium obtusifoilum is native to North America but widely cultivated.
