Description

Flower buds of the lemon-flowered mallee are sometimes encountered in potpourri imported from Australia. Buds are clustered, pedicillate, 1.6-1.7 x 0.9-1.1 cm; rim thick; glaucous and often with persistent beaked opercula (operculums, flower bud caps).

Nativity and distribution

Eucalyptus woodwardii is native to Western Australia but cultivated elsewhere.
