Description

Fruits of the scarlet pear gum are sometimes encountered in potpourri imported from Australia. Capsules are barrel-shaped, ribbed, 2.3-4 cm long and 2-1.8 cm wide; rim thick; disc descending; valves 3, enclosed.

Nativity and distribution

Eucalyptus stoatei is endemic to Western Australia but cultivated elsewhere.
