Description

The fruits of the warted yate are sometimes encountered in potpourri imported from Australia. The capsules are clustered and sessile on a flattened peduncle, campanulate, 1 prominent rib with many weak ribs, 1.8-4 cm long x 2.2-.5 cm wide, valves 3, exserted.

Nativity and distribution

Eucalyptus megacornuta is native to Western Australia but cultivated elsewhere.
