Description

The fruits of the mottlecah are sometimes encountered in potpourri imported from Australia. The capsules are shallowly hemispherical or turbinate, 3-5 cm long x 5-9 cm wide, valves 4-7, exserted.

Nativity and distribution

Eucalyptus macrocarpa is native to Western Australia but cultivated elsewhere.
