Description

The fruits of the spotted gum are urn-shaped woody capsules, 10-18 mm long x 9-12 mm wide with 3-4 enclosed valves. This has been encountered in a few potpourri samples from Australia.

Nativity and distribution

Corymbia maculata is native to New South Wales and Victoria in Australia but cultivated worldwide.
