Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of body, surface characters, adult worker. Erect hairs are present on cephalic dorsum (above eye level), gastral tergites 1 and 2, and are often also present on the pronotum. Used in Antkey to separate Linepithema iniquum from Linepithema humile.

Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of thorax / mesosoma, adult worker. The profile of mesosomal dorsum with three distinct convexities (promesonotum, metanotum and propodeum). Used in Antkey to separate Linepithema iniquum from Linepithema humile.
Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of thorax / mesosoma, adult. Dense pubescence not covering mesopleuron. Photo by Alexander Wild, Antweb.org, modified.
Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of thorax / mesosoma, adult worker. The mesopleura and metapleural bulla lacking pubescence giving the surface a glabrous appearance. Used in Antkey to separate Linepithema iniquum from Linepithema humile.
Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of propodeum, adult. Propodeum globular, strongly and uniformly convex. Photo by Alexander Wild, Antweb.org, modified.
Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of propodeum, adult worker. The propodeum is strongly rounded, uniformly convex and resembling a sphere in profile. Used in Antkey to separate Linepithema iniquum from Linepithema humile.
Linepithema iniquum
Lateral view of propodeum, adult worker. The propodeal spiracle is distinctly anterior to posterior margin of the propodeum. Used in Antkey to separate Linepithema iniquum from Linepithema humile.
Monomorium destructor
Lateral view of body, surface characters, adult worker. The gaster is brown to black and the rest of the body is brownish yellow. Used in Antkey to separate Monomorium destructor from all other Monomorium.
Monomorium destructor
Lateral view of thorax / mesosoma, adult worker. The mesonotum and propodeum with a combination of punctate and rugose sculpture, while the promesonotum entirely lacks sculpture. Used in Antkey to separate Monomorium destructor from other Monomorium.
Monomorium ebeninum
Lateral view of body, surface characters, adult worker. The entire body is uniformly brown to black. Used in Antkey to separate Monomorium ebeninum, Monomorium liliuokalanii, members of the Monomorium salomonis-group and some specimens of Monomorium floricola from all other Monomorium species.
Monomorium ebeninum
Lateral view of thorax / mesosoma, adult worker. The mesosoma is entirely smooth and shining, with at most a few isolated punctures, but never with the propodeum, mesonotum or pronotum entirely punctate. Used in Antkey to separate Monomorium ebeninum, Monomorium floricola and Monomorium liliuokalanii from other Monomorium.
Monomorium ebeninum
Lateral view of petiole, adult worker. The petiole, in profile, is distinctly longer than it is tall. The length is measured from the most anterior section of the petiolar peduncle to the most posterior section of the petiolar node, and the height is measured from the apex of the petiolar node to its ventral margin. Used in Antkey to separate Monomorium ebeninum and Monomorium floricola from Monomorium liliuokalanii.

Monomorium liliuokalanii
Lateral view of petiole, adult worker. Petiole length approximately equal to height. Photo by April Nobile, Antweb.org, modified.
Monomorium pharaonis
Lateral view of body, surface characters, adult worker. The entire body is uniformly brownish yellow. Used in Antkey to separate Monomorium pharaonis from all other Monomorium species.
