Similar to that of Stromatium barbatum, but separable as follows. Head with genal setae long and fine. Hypostoma with only two pairs of tubercles which are longitudinally subcarinate and ferruginous. Biology and Economic Importance Members of this tribe are known from various host plant families and at least one genus (Trichoferus) is considered economically important.
