Diagnostic Features of Larvae
- Mature larva. Similar to that of Dichostates quadripunctatus, from which it differs as follows. Length up to 32 mm. Head with front margin of frons broadly ferruginous, the ferruginous band equal in width to at least length of clypeus. Abdomen with tubercles of. dorsal ampullae smooth, shining, distinctly defined and strongly protuberant. Gin-traps with margins glabrous. Urogomphi on tergite 9 robust and conical.
