Very similar to that of Optomerus bispeculifer, but distinguishable by the spiracles on abdominal segment 8, which are appreciably more broadly oval than those on segment 7. Length up to 13 mm; maximum breadth (at prothorax) 3.75 mm. Pupa. Similar to that of Optomerus bispeculifer, but differing as follows. Abdomen with tergite 7 bearing a tubercle on which are two to four short stunted spines. Tergite 8 with a transverse row of four spines which are distinctly larger than those on tergite 7. Length up to 9 mm; maximum breadth 3.75 mm. Adapted from Duffy (1960). Biology and Economic Importance Biology unknown for members of this tribe.
