Fruit a berry with several seeds, ovoid, constricted at top appearing bilobed, greenish-yellow to orange, 5–10 mm long.

Seed typically irregularly angular in shape due to tight packing in fruit, typically notched along margin where hilum occurs, variably compressed, cross-section oblong or ovate to sometimes polygonal, 1.8–3 mm long x (1.5)1.8–2.2 mm wide x 0.8–1.6 mm thick. Surface sparkly under magnification, may be dull or rough when dried bits of pericarp remain; otherwise, surface is a maze of undulating ridges, yellowish to orangish-brown.

Hilum marginal but off-center, in notch or nearby, ± sunken, ± round to broadly elliptic, whitish (lighter than testa), 0.15–0.3 mm long.
