Fruit a capsule, nearly globose, three-lobed, three-chambered (one seed per chamber), 2–2.5 mm long, glabrous or hairy.
Seed ovoid in outline, widely 3-sided (cross-section trigonous to almost terete), 1–2 mm long x ca. 1 mm wide. Surface dull, glabrous, smooth to shallowly wrinkled, cobblestone-like under magnification (composed of individually-colored polygonal cells), white with grayish undertones to tan or pale yellow with orangish splotches. Caruncle absent. A prominent seam (raphe) on the ventral side connects the hilum to the chalazal area.
Hilum elliptic, dark, surrounded by whitish tissue.
