Fruit a dehiscent capsule, cylindrical, straight, slender, four-chambered, opening widely at the apex by the four back-curved valves, glabrous or glandular-hairy, 1.5–3.5 cm long.

Seed bilobed-obovate in outline, somewhat dorsiventrally compressed, cross-section elliptic, 1.4–2.7 mm long x 0.8–1 mm wide x 0.2–0.5 mm thick, with a white tuft of easily deciduous, long, soft hairs (“coma”) near the apex on the ventral face. The ventral face of the seed has a central, thin, whitish line starting at the coma scar and running down to the base of the seed. Surface dull, covered with low papillae, various shades of tan to dark brown, mottled.
