Fruit a single-seeded, one-chambered capsule, ovoid, 1.5–3 mm long x 1.2–2.5 mm wide, with dried perianth parts still attached (± enclosed by corolla).

Seed round to widely ovate in outline, partially compressed to ± terete, often flat or dimpled on 1+ sides, 1.3–1.7 mm long x 1–1.5 mm diameter. Surface dull, rough (variously honeycombed or pitted), variable in color including yellowish-orange to reddish-purple.

Hilar region a large, ± circular, darkened depression, with a narrow slit-like vascular scar.
