Description (diagnostics are in brown)

Fruit a 2–4-seeded capsule, globose to subglobose, 2–3.5 mm long x 1.9–4(5) mm diameter, with dried perianth parts still attached (± enclosed by corolla).

Seed variable in shape (typically widely elliptic in outline), ± terete to somewhat compressed, one side convex, the other side with hilum near margin and the face dimpled or convex, (1.2)1.4–1.9 mm long x 1.25–1.6 mm wide x 0.6–1 mm thick. Surface dull, rough (variously honeycombed or pitted), typically light to dark brown.

Hilar region near margin of one of the faces, a roundish shallowly sunken area 0.2–0.4 mm across which may be darker or lighter than rest of testa, with a slit-like vascular scar.
