Fruit a dehiscent (by 3 valves) capsule, ovoid, 4–7 mm long, tip acute, containing numerous seeds.
Seed round or elliptic in outline, compressed with an acute, broadly wavy (saddle-shaped) marginal rim and a curved lenticular cross-section, with a protruding notch along the margin where hilum occurs, 1–2.5 mm diameter x 0.6–0.8 mm thick. Surface shiny, ± smooth (under magnification, looking cobblestone-like with fine reticulations and large interspaces), black.
Hilar region round to elliptic, consisting of a linear slit between two semi-circular scars (one scar larger, distinctly whitish, and sometimes with a bit of funiculus attached).
